Graphic Design Introduction

A Note from the Chair

Most young creatives don’t grow up with a passion for branding, advertising or corporate identity; they love to draw, and they arrive at art school prepared to develop their skills. In the Graphic Design department, we recognize ourselves in our students and prepare them for careers as professional creatives, careers we’ve experienced as graphic designers and illustrators. Our students were the talented kids in high school; our graduates are employed by top agencies because of their learned ability to design effective, research-based, creative strategies that aid large and small businesses. Their creativity serves real people and reaches targeted audiences through its appearance in print and on the web.
