There’s no better way to experience Watkins then by taking a tour of the school with one of our Admissions Representatives. All of our reps are artists and understand the importance of finding the right creative environment to learn, explore and grow. Our tours last approximately 45 – 60 minutes and encompass views of each of the five departments – Fine Art, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Photography and Film. Tours of the residential apartments are offered at the end for those that are interested in on campus housing. During the tour you will learn about our foundation / studio classes, general education and the various ways Watkins prepares students to be professional artists.

Schedule:

1:00pm – Registration and Campus Tours

Check in at the registration table and then let a Watkins student show you around

2:00pm – Information Presentations: College Programs, Financial Aid, and Careers

Enjoy a presentation about Nashville and the programs offered at Watkins, featuring examples of student work.  We’ll also talk about Financial Aid and Career Services here at Watkins.

2:45pm – Student Panel

3:30pm – Meet the Faculty

Split into groups based on what you want to study at Watkins and have an in-depth meeting with faculty from that department.

4:00pm – Info Fair / Campus Housing Tours / Portfolio Reviews (optional)

Chat with staff from Financial Aid, Student Life & Career Services, and current student groups to get all of your questions answered.

Bring your portfolio and get feedback from Admissions Representatives (optional).
